Types of Sleep Disorder

All people experience sleep disorder, and for some who don’t have idea with it, there are already more than 70 sleep disorder, but only two of them are very common and popularly known by many.
Insomnia — this type of sleep disorder has the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. Which is there are two types of insomnia also. And this are the;

  • Short-term – this is a (situational) insomnia that may be related to a stressful situation such as illness, work/school demands or emotionally upsetting events in a person’s life. Situational insomnia, this is the most common reason for a poor sleep.
  • Chronic insomnia — this is at least three months of poor sleep most nights and may be this are related to another unrecognized sleep disorder such as sleep apnea or restless legs syndrome.

Sleep Apnea — this is the type of sleep disorder that has a temporary suspension of breathing with 10 or more seconds, and it occurs repeatedly during sleep. This disorder will cause the person to wake up or to come out from a deep level of sleep into a more shallow level of sleep. It does have a twice common in men as in women, and women do often have different symptoms from men also.
